I had an incredible underwater experience diving with Scuba Galapagos. Service was excellent and we could see lots of turtles, some white tipped reef and hammerhead sharks !

Description

Diving the Galapagos Islands

We probably do not need to tell you that the famous Galapagos Islands form a worldclass scuba diving destination. The remote volcanic islands are known for the abundance of (unique) species, both on land and in its waters. Fishing is restricted in these nutrient rich waters, which resulted in truly unspoilt dive sites. Expect to dive with manta rays, dolphins, turtles, hammerheads, whale sharks, sea lions and even penguins! Best of all, these species are generally unaware of human presence, do not have fear of humans and get really close to you! As a result, diving the Galapagos will be an unforgettable experience.

Where to dive

There are many great sites (over 30), but a selection of popular and famous ones is presented below: Wolf and Darwin (in the northwest) are worldclass dive sites, that are included in every liveaboard trip. Cousin's Rock (in the centre of the archipelago) is another excellent wall dive. Try also not to miss Beagle Rocks, Gordon Rocks, Pinzon, Daphne, Santa Cruz Island, Seymour Island, Floreana Island, Darwin and Wolf. Although there are dive sites suitable for beginners, the long journey is only recommended for relatively experienced divers. The currents and swells are rather strong and most dives are deep dives.
